Very simple and safe.
Connect a “Y” cable between the RX in/out jacks on the back of the TS-990. Connect the 3rd leg to the SDRplay. Then push the RX Ant button on the 990’s key pad,. The SDRplay is now seeing everything coming from the antenna as well as the 990’s receivers.
Safe – there is plenty of isolation in the TX/RX relay in the 990 so no way to over drive the SDRplay.
